After a few carving sessions of the elephant, I was left with some incredible black line Spalt with beautiful curl, so this piece was born Though I had intended on a horse, it didn't work for me to force the wood and this dragon in flight was born of the marriage of two separate chunks of what the elephant no longer needed.
